How do you play Euchre?

Euchre is a 4-player partnership trick-taking card game using a 24-card deck (9-A of each suit). Players bid on trump, then try to win tricks. The goal is to be the first team to reach 10 points.

What is trump in Euchre?

Trump is a suit chosen during bidding that beats all other suits. The Jack of the trump suit is the Right Bower (highest), and the Jack of the same color is the Left Bower (second highest).

What does Going Alone mean in Euchre?

When a player calls trump, they can choose to go alone, meaning their partner sits out and does not play. Going alone offers higher rewards (4 points for a march) but greater risk.

What is Stick the Dealer?

If everyone passes in the second round of bidding, the dealer must call a trump suit. This rule ensures a hand is always played.
