About this game

A Nikoli-style logic puzzle where you shade tetromino shapes (L, I, T, S) in each region of the grid, with constraints on adjacency, connectivity, and 2x2 blocks.

How to play

What is LITS?

LITS (originally called Nuruomino) is a Japanese logic puzzle invented by Naoki Inaba. The grid is divided into regions, and you must shade one tetromino (L, I, T, or S) in each region, following four rules.

What are the four rules of LITS?

1) Each region must contain exactly one tetromino (4 shaded cells forming L, I, T, or S). 2) Tetrominoes in adjacent regions cannot be the same shape. 3) All shaded cells must form one connected group. 4) No 2x2 block can be fully shaded.

How many levels are there?

LITS Puzzle on GameZipper includes 30 hand-tuned levels across four tiers: 6x6, 8x8, 10x10, and 12x12 grids with 4, 6, 8, and 10 regions respectively.

Is LITS hard to learn?

LITS is easy to learn but hard to master. The first few 6x6 levels are approachable for beginners, while 12x12 puzzles can challenge experts. The no-2x2 and connectivity rules are the trickiest to track mentally.
